Meanwhile in Australia...snake windshield wipers

chingalera says...

I know man, snakes and spiders...Most everyone has that unfounded fear of these..... Must have been some trauma as a kid is all I can guess.

My only beef with any reptile or insect is with the American/Oriental cockroach. When I see one in my home it is imperative that I kill it or exhaust myself looking for it before going to bed. When I was 10, I was woken abruptly after having just fallen asleep by one crawling across my mouth, the source of my obsession. (oh fuck, now the NSA knows what to put in Room 101 to get me to confess!)

Plus, the little bastards are smart, wily, and calculated. Can't have that sonofabitch wandering around while I sleep!

I was kinda hoping that his sun roof was open and that the wipers would fling the snake inside. Then he'd have a reason to scream like a little bitch.

You know i don't even normally reply to this trite and i'm certainly not going to hijack someone else's post to do it, but i'm also not going to let you off the hook.

First off my comment was intended as a VERY obvious joke about a silly video.

Maybe ask yourself why you were SOOOO threatened by such an innocuous comment? Or take your own advice and ignore it...

And because you (and almost EVERYONE else for that matter) regurgitate something you learned in psych 101 on to the forums of a website does not mean anyone is agreeing or disagreeing with YOU. YOU arn't a factor beyond being incredibly overly sensitive. I suspect most if not everyone in that thread is well aware of what you posted but was just having a little fun, as was I for that matter. But either learn to take your own advice... if it be from that quote, which to my mind applies to you far more than you seem to be aware, or to your other little gem of "Fuck You".

Miley Cyrus & Dwarves

I still use "kraut" like old WW2 vets do as an homage to simpler times....I take this license according to my own justifications based on my personal heritage of Euromutt. Plus, using recognizable stereotypes well,....that's comedy 101

Thanks for the lesson on Sclagen (which the g-translator interprets as "beat" or "strike" while schlag is defined as "shock." So why was that crappy pop music that Germans were cranking-out in the 60's called, Schlagen? Was it meant to refer to 'hits or beats' or 'shocking hits?'

TheGenk said:

"Schlag den Raab" is actually a gameshow where one candidate has to beat the moderator (Raab) in a series of games.
Btw, the german (don't say Kraut, you Yank! ) version of top of the pops was called top of the pops.

BRILLIANT Aussie Ad That Rupert Murdoch Had Banned

Murdochs' in what I like to call the "Room 101" classification of world-destroyers as in, room 101 is the first portion of his incarceration, THEN comes the water-boarding and the shit-all-up-under-the-fingernails treatment....

Carly Rae Jepsen Throws Terrible First Pitch

hatsix says...

While she definitely throws much faster than I do, I don't think you could say that she has anywhere near the same power that a male pitcher has. The GBoWW record for a woman is 65mph [1], and 101[2] for men. In MLB, the only pitchers who can't throw faster than 85mph have extraordinary control over the ball.[3] (and, granted, the fastest pitch is under contention for both sexes, but it's approx 2-3mph that is being argued over, not enough to affect this comparison)

The pro female (softball) pitcher threw very well... especially since her specialty is an underhanded pitch. But she doesn't generate anywhere near the power that a male pitcher can generate.

But weren't they looking at "throw like a girl" to be an insult? Where as you mentioned, the pro female pitcher clearly still "threw like a girl", she had the accuracy and power for it to not matter

So @ 3:01 lemme see, berry mix, (some thin whitish dairy?), cream, sweetened condensed milk, and that gelatin wad at the end there(?), never saw this before....Can this confection be anymore convoluted and time-consuming?

For those in the 1% who would frequent dives like these, even food has become a bore.

BTW, there's that canned music accompanying no verbal instructions-Again, the best way to make a cooking video-Peeps that need kitchen chemistry 101 need not apply! Love this format for instructional viddies.
