How to create a $1,000,000,000,000 industry!
>> ^imstellar28:
Heres how you create a $1,000,000,000,000 market:
1. Remove all government regulation
2. Watch and wait as the net ingenuity of 300 million Americans vie for a slice of $1,000,000,000,000 pie, developing an array of innovative and cost-effective new products.
Sure, you could do that... if you wanted to turn back the clock 130 years and bring back unregulated monopolies. 'Cept now it would be energy instead of trains or steel.
I agree with you though that the subsidies oil companies get are ridiculous. I suppose the argument could be made about the "barriers to entry" into the energy market--that it's cheaper to subsidize current energy companies and try to get them to go green since all their infrastructure is already in place rather than try to slingshot new companies to the top. But given how much big oil has dragged its feet in exploring alternative energy, maybe we'll end up spending more in the long run, who knows.
Roberto Carlos Top 10 Goals
Really over rated player.
#10 - did he mean to bounce it off the ground? I doubt it, I think he meant to volley it straight and got lucky.
#8 - nice outside curve.
#2 - yeah, right, sure that was deliberate. If I was his manager, I'd drop him from the team if he meant that. What sort of dumb ass wastes possession in a position like that with a shot that goes in 1 in 1000000000 times. He whacked in a cross, got lucky. Good for him, but not a skillful goal.
#1 - the camera angle is flattering. Plenty of free kicks would look this good with the camera positioned so neatly behind the kicker. It was a great goal, but it's not deserving of the reaction it got, he made millions off the fact that there was a camera in the right place.
The rest are good, but plenty of other players have done just as well. I'd take John Arne Riise over Roberto Carlos at his peak any day, Riise can could do these AND defend.
No Time For Nuts - A Scrat Short (Ice Age)
Problem with this video.. I can't get rid of the big play button in the middle of the video, even when it is playing
Also the buffering just goes from 1000000000% to 9999999999% then repeats itself. Can't even move the time-slider thingy.
Is it a problem with metacafe, or my computer?
