For those times when you can't turn the speakers up at work (or class ;)), or for those of us with hearing impairments. :)
Though this guy somehow doesn't fall, it would take some serious money to get me on this bike. Also: you can turn down the volume on your speakers unless you want to hear some really bad hard rock.
