A Bit of Advice to Anyone Opposing Health Care Reform
In 1993, calling health care reform Hillarycare was a smart idea because you tied something people weren't sure they needed to a fairly unlikeable person.
In 2009, calling health care reform Obamacare is tying a desperately needed reform to a very popular person.
Just sayin'.

It's a good thing I don't oppose "health care reform", just Obamacare.
^ What's your plan for reform?
The Right Wing Plan for Health Care Reform:
MOAR PRIVITIZATION.
When it fails. Blame government regulation.
MOAR PRIVITIZATION.
When it fails. Blame government regulation.
MOAR PRIVITIZATION.
etc etc...
I still can't grasp how blaming the government works when in the past 8 years they were the government.
Obama's approval ratings continue to sink, and even before that, while people liked him (and who couldn't like a guy whose deliberate blankness aided the uninformed in seeing what they wanted to see in him) they still didn't and don't care for his policies.
Socialism sucks. Medicaid loses 60 BILLION dollars every year to fraud alone and no one seem overly concerned on EITHER side. So it's insane--really, there's no other word to describe it--INSANE to think any program a government executes will make any endeavor less expensive or more efficient.
^ Obama's favorables are rising.
I'd also recommend looking at the DailyKos weekly trends polling, particularly at congressional Dems vs. congressional GOP, as well as just the Democratic and Republican parties themselves.
But you probably won't believe those.
How much, in billions, should we allocate to "health care", per year?
That is, what number will satiate the moral posers - those who are concerned more with the appearance of charity than the results of charity?
I have no reason to trust any crap found on Daily Komatose, as you and others refuse to trust any crap on FOX (which I don't watch).
If popularity be the sole indicator of which bills pass, then accept we're living in a true democracy, with imminent collapse awaiting down the line.
Hi. Two cents here from a newbie-the best health care is prevention and education. If a nation of fat-arses, fast-food junkies, and burdens to the health care system are taught from infancy to stop eating poison in the form of so-called "food" (anything manufactured, promoted, grown or marketed by *corporate food-Nazis like ADM, Monsanto, etc.) then they won't neeeeed "health care". Let a couple of generations pass, and BOOM!, the world will be telling insurance companies to kiss their buttocks! Besides, who wants to "live forever" in this twisted paradigm?? Change comes from radical adjustment in thought and action. Governments are tainted, they can't help anything but their own organism.

Answer this question please, NetRunner: When is the last time you tasted a "real" tomato?
Posting polls and opinions?? That's akin to urging sensible people to believe everything they read or see on television.
