Daily Show host Jon Stewart laughed off the idea on Tuesday that the U.S. would be ready to face up to the findings of a report detailing the CIA’s torture practices following the 9/11 attacks.

“You want us to do that?” Stewart asked incredulously. “Yeah, we’ll face that ugly truth in just a second, I just want to figure out, how do they get the cheese in the crust — that’s what I want to know.”

Stewart showed footage of Senate Intelligence Committee chair Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) announcing several of the findings from the report, which uncovered that at least 26 of the 119 detainees subjected to threats and bodily harm were being held wrongfully.
