even if someone knew about a conspiricy on that level, if they were not involved, they will be made to look insane should they start spewing....Isn't that what YOU think of folks espewing large-scale conspiracy theories??? Hmmmmm!??

interesting that what we usually see from this are ignorant people who become insulting and belligerent when confronted with a very distinct possibility of what is happening in our government.

upvote for awareness ...

Discussing the possibilities is one thing, bothering people shamelessly because of their status as a celebrity is quite another. It's pretty clear they never notified Bonaduce of their intent beforehand. Am surprised he didn't punch his lights out.

Am all for monitoring the government, but not when it is done like this. It makes people who question force deployment by the government seem stupid and idiotic.

Almost every large scale involvement of the United States in an armed conflict resulted from an attack or loss of American lives. The sinking of the Lusitania in 1915, a large passenger liner with 128 Americans aboard in World War 1. Pearl Harbor in World War 2. The controversial attack on U.S. ships in the Gulf of Tonkin triggered a U.S. military assault on North Vietnamese military installations and the deployment of more than 500,000 troops into South Vietnam and thus the Vietnam War.

Question #1 for 9/11 Conspiracy Nuts:
What about anything the Bush administration has done the last 6 years gives you the idea that they're competent enough to tie their own shoelaces, much less pull off a grand conspiracy?

Farhad2000says...

Why does the Bush Administration have to show anything? The short term profits from the Iraq War have already been gained.

My question is not whether they planned it or had a part in it. But whether they used it as a pretext for neocon reform in the Middle East specifically with Iraq. The whole world was for the engagement of Osama Bin Laden in Afghanistan post 9/11 as a show of unity with the American people. Not for Iraq. Remember how the Iraq war was sold? Tugging at the heart strings formed by the heart ache of 9/11?

"Don't let the smoking gun be a mushroom cloud"

Terrible events like this shouldn't be defiled in justifying a unilateral war.

theo47says...

There's no question the Bush administration used 9/11 to settle old scores and play their own real-life version of Risk in the Middle East.

But to suggest that 9/11 was actually caused by more than Muslim fanatics and a Bush administration asleep at the wheel is just silly.

And a good chunk of them were subsequently thrown out of office this past year.

Yes, we should demand more accountability from our media and to a broader extent, ourselves - but democracy works slowly.

Amen, Theo. Given all the leaks this administration can't seem to plug, it's just not possible to have covered such a terrible deed up. Unless of course, Bush is actually a master manipulator on the level of comic book super villains.

theo47says...

Funny thing is, the administration has only itself to blame for the leaks; placing the blame on intelligence services and the military for "bad intelligence" when, in fact, the intelligence was correct and they chose to cherry-pick it for their own devices.

Considering what they're capable of, I certainly wouldn't want the CIA (who have to walk in a building every day bearing Dubya's father's name) mad at me.

LadyBugsays...

your reasoning astounds me!!! you're happy to sit back with an administration that is completely incompetent?!?! (by your own admission)

if one of your co-workers was so incompetent in his position, would you be the first to stick up for him and say, "leave him alone, he can't even tie his own shoelaces!" doubtful, as that behavior is just not tolerated in the workforce ... yet, we sit back and accept it from our government.

to excuse this administration and hold them inculpable allows them to continue to paint all americans with the same brush of ignorance ... it's repulsive.
