I doubt this is going to make it out of the queue, but I thought I'd post it just to hear what people thought of this. So here's my explanation for this video:

Chinese actress Zhang Yu recently revealed 20 videotapes of herself having sex in exchange for movie roles with big-name Chinese directors and other men who had hands in casting parts for movies. She has been making claims of being forced into the casting couch since 2002, when she accused a director of trying to get her to have sex with another actress in exchange for a role in his movie. Yu has also displayed letters signed by famous directors promising roles in movies in exchange for sex.

She is also attempting to take legal action against some directors, although her case is not very strong legally.

My opinion is that it is good that she is bringing lots of media attention to an issue that extends far beyond acting and well into other job sectors in China, although I feel that some people will dismiss her offhand simply because they feel her position is one of moral inferiority. (She has stated that she received all of her roles due to her having sex with directors.)
