Vox explains bump stocks

So the title of this video is "The gun modification that made the Las Vegas shooting so deadly".... and that's bullshit.

Converting an AR-15 to fully automatic made an already deadly firearm marginally more deadly.

I've fired an AK-47 on full auto. On semi-auto, even someone like me with almost no shooting experience could hit a target. On full auto? Not a hope.

But even the NRA are now saying that bump stocks should be made illegal... why? Because they know it would be a pointless concession.

"Bump stocks" are a distraction from the much more important issues of background checks, lower capacity magazines and so on.
