NordlichReitersays...Mung - I wont describe this to the sift, because It makes me puke a little every time I think about it. Any one from Modern warfare will know what that is. I worked with a guy in private security who would talk about that. He was fucked in the head, although he would never admit to it. He told me that holding a gun was the most powerful thing he had ever experienced.
Some days he would be cool, and others he would be fucked up. Most days he was a cool guy.
No one can condone the things each side did in Veitnam, and we should never have been there in the first place.
Communism and democracy one in the same, forcing your views on every one else, with a machine gun.
Pushing little kids with a fully automatic.
solventsays...Well done marines, army etc. for turning mentally sound boys into maniacs and then re-releasing them back into the society after they served their purpose...
Kevlarsays...Great sift. It seems like this was such a significant event then in terms of war coverage... I don't understand why the Iraq War Winter Soldier conference didn't get more press, but then again while many of the stories had the same tone they weren't necessarily of the same horrific scale.
