Truck stalled on the tracks and train is coming...

Uh oh. So, it's unclear to me what happened exactly in this rural town in California. Some reports are that this semitrailer tried to cross a railroad crossing it had no business crossing (because it's marked "no trucks" because of a high spotting issue), the truck got stuck and a train full of military vehicles (Stryker APCs being shipped between US bases) made mincemeat out of it.

Another version is the truck stalled out.

In either case, the driver was down the tracks waving trying to stop the train---but stopping a train is a multi mile event is my guess, if you don't want a derailment.

And so; we get---flatbed cars with armored personnel carriers versus semitrailer loaded with trail mix (I think).
