Trebek Debuts Great Jeopardy Category

The most fascinating part of the video is that not even Ken Jennings, the smartest man on this entire planet, knows what event is taking place when the Beastie Boys yell, “Listen all y’all, it’s a…”

This is a man who, last night, knew that “the U.N. diplomat who became the first African-American to win a Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating an Arab-Israeli truce” was Ralph Bunche.

It’s a sabotage, Ken. Everybody knows it’s a sabotage.

Look, May can be long and mysteriously hot for no real reason, but sometimes we get tiny little Christmases amidst the heat, and this Jeopardy category is one of them. Thank you, Jeopardy producer who knew what this would sound like on TV. We should give you Ralph Bunche’s Nobel Peace Prize.
