Was cut from the theatrical version, mostly because the timing was different than in the books.

In the books, this meeting takes place earlier in the story, so the reader don't know Frodo's fate yet. In the books, it has been resolved already, so this was deemed unnecessary - no emotional investment.

He's all sorts of cool though.
