Dorkly: You've probably heard of 50 Shades of Grey - it's an absolute literary phenomenon, having sold over 100 million copies worldwide and inspiring a major motion picture that's already poised to break box office records. What's really surprising is the content - not only is it an erotic novel, but it primarily deals with BDSM, a risque topic for such an enormously successful book.

Actually, scratch that - here's the REAL surprising part: 50 Shades of Grey began its life as a different work entirely...a piece of Twilight fanfiction, titled 'Master of the Universe.' Yes, the biggest piece of literature in decades is nothing more than a cleaned-up version of some Twilight fanfic, except without all the vampires and werewolves (aka THE ONE THING TWILIGHT HAD GOING FOR IT).

What's even more insane is the actual story of the fanfiction. And the dialogue. And...well, everything.
