mlxsays...Wonder if that did any damage to the camera? LOL
Enzobluesays...I wonder if he was playing. We had a tortoise when I was a kid and he came out and played with us in the sprinklers all the time, like a pet dog mentally. His name was Tut. He chased us around and loved when we hosed him down.
silvercordsays...That's one testy terrapin! I just got done showing my daughter a snapping turtle that was making it's way across the parking lot. I'd hate to tangle with one of them.

Thylansays...Tortoise are very rocknroll
SDGundamXsays...He's definitely attacking. My Eastern box turtle used to do the same thing anytime it saw another male turtle or we put a mirror in front of him. They can be very territorial. My guess is this turtle thinks the camera is poaching on his turf (maybe can see his own reflection in the lens).
Entropy001says...Apparently turtles are not to be fucked with. And they're pretty fast, too.
