Tempered glass yields to a fragment of a spark plug

So, I guess National Geographic has moved on from majestic nature films about migrating wildebeests and decided to demo well-known methods of vandalizing car windows.
Sigh.

Although, the physics are kind of cool--the ability of the impact of the ceramic chip to release the internalized stresses of a tempered window is interesting.

Would have been better if they'd used a real hammer instead of the mallet on the window first, but....
