TED talk: Amazing usage of flickr photos to create 3D images

This is a brief part of the TED talk about Photosynth and cDragon. It is set to revolutionize viewing images on the web.

cDragon allows unlimited size pictures to be handled (enlarged, moved, swifted. etc) in real time independent of the size of the picture, just dependent on the size of what is on the display. Zooming in endlessly is now an option, even in 300Mpixel pics.

Photosynth comes (partly) from Microsoft labs research and combines visual cues from hundreds of normal pictures (in this case from Flickr) to form 3D imagery of the subject of the picture.
