Say NO to retroactive immunity for the lawbreaking telecoms

A two-minute interview with whistleblower Mark Klein, a technician with AT&T for 22 years, who is speaking out against proposed retroactive immunity from lawsuits for the telecoms who clearly violated the law by invading our privacy at the behest of the Bush administration. Qwest told them no without repercussions because they knew the administration had no solid legal justification for their request, so why didn't the other telecoms do the same thing?

Obviously we all use the internet here, so do you feel comfortable with the electronic eavesdropping that's been done? Is your activity being monitored based on what you read or view on the web? How do you know that some of things that you've posted or even viewed here at the Sift might have put you on some 'watch list'? Seriously think about it.

Yes, this was posted on YouTube by the Chris Dodd campaign, but even if you don't like Sen. Dodd still give this issue careful consideration.

My first political submission. Let's run it up the flag pole and see who salutes.
