Lewis Black does a routine where he references this interview, but he calls it Meet the Press instead of Face the Nation. "You wanna wake up for the week, watch when these idiots have to talk for more than a minute!"

Oh man do I love seeing this. Every one of those assholes should have to go before the cameras and answer questions just like these, with all the voluminous video clips and newsprint quotes at the interviewer's disposal. The lying just doesn't come off quite as smooth and "convincing" does it?

trial by replay, followed by a court order compelling him to wear an 8' sandwich board with the words "I LIED, THEY DIED" on it, carrying a basket of rotten tomatoes which he must hand out to everyone in the street who requests one.
Or hanging. His choice.
