Ron Paul on "Cash For Clunkers" Government Initiative

On the face it seems like a good idea. My gf was thinking about trading in her old '94 Jeep Cherokee, and she may still do it, but this sort of government initiative that props up an industry only serves to worsen it for everyone else. Those "clunkers" could be vehicles lower income families or students could afford to buy, but instead they will be bought and destroyed.

Everyday that passes, I swear our intrusive government is becoming more and more of a parody of itself. Ridiculous.
