SPOILERS: The Turbo-Encabulator started as a British Engineering Student's joke (1944), picked up by Time Magazine and later by companies like GM, Chrysler Corp, and as recently as Hank Green of the SciShow...this joke has been found buried in handbooks and featured in some surprising places. Unsuspecting viewers are drawn into the pitch as it lead further and further away from known reality. The trick is to deliver nonsense as straight as possible,

Casual viewers gloss over the first few terms guessing they'll get the gist soon enough which never comes...does one accept the claims as beyond their comprehension or see through the the thing as the joke it is. This one has been my favorite version.
