Well, he certainly doesn't seem to 'get it' when he contends that religious people are the only ones arguing that there is mystery in the universe.

In fact, it is the religious factions that claim specific (and many times mutually exclusive) knowledge of the so-called mystery and most atheists who profess ignorance about the ultimate nature of the universe...

What he perceives as "mockery" is really simply a call for evidence that is not forthcoming.
