Dumbness and a bigger than life personality are her two most important assets. The dumbness ensures that she will follow orders without question or understanding. The bigger than life personality allows the public to focus all negative energy on her, personally, drawing attention away from those who write her speeches and legislation. W. Bush and Reagan were used for the similar reasons.
