OnLive: Play Crysis on a low-level laptop @ max detail (HD)

OnLive will be a service used on a PC/Mac via a plug-in or by buying a box for your TV. The idea is that servers at OnLive render the game and stream it to you and react to your input, which is exactly like playing your average PC-game, only over the internet. This way we'll be able to run games like Crysis on maximum detail on a laptop with integrated graphics because the computer would not be rendering anything, only receiving a data stream. OnLive are saying a broadband connection of mere 5 Mbps is be required.

I seen this GDC video somewhere else and I cannot believe the technology behind this at all, they essentially eliminated the large lag between server and client, the huge cost of running this on servers and the huge time it takes to encode HD to stream over the net.
