The PSA was done through:
"MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership"

The President and the Golden State Warriors point guard appeared
alongside each other in a public service announcement released Saturday
that highlights the importance of mentoring a young person.

The video is part of the campaign by Obama's My Brother's Keeper initiative and
MENTOR: The National Mentoring Partnership called "In Real Life," which aims to
increase opportunity for minority youths. 'The first time I saw the White House was in 1984,' Obama reads. 'I just graduated from college. I was working as a community organizer out of the Harlem Campus of the City Colleges of New York.'
Obama, who recently called Curry the best shooter he's 'ever seen', then gives the player some tips on his jump shot.
He tells Curry to 'have your elbow in a little bit' and to make sure the ball is on his fingertips during the release.
The pair then work on a volcano fit for a science fair, high-fiving when it successfully starts to bubble.
'That's science right there,' Obama says enthusiastically. 'I'm really proud of you man, that's a wonderful volcano.'
The Mentorship, which aired on ABC's NBA Countdown ahead of the Warriors playoff opener against the Houston Rockets on Saturday, was motivated by My Brother's Keeper.
Obama launched the initiative in 2014 to address opportunity gaps faced by boys and young men of color in America.
'You don't need all the time in the world or all the answers to be the mentor someone needs,' a voice reads at the end of Obama's video with Curry.
'And you don't need to be an NBA star or the President of the United States to be someone's hero.'
