Brilliant Survey of history, political & cultural, that led to major shifts that gave birth to and guided the video game industry. Reaching back to Alan Turing and early incarnations of Artificial Intelligence and how the Cold War put a heavy impetus on the Space Race, automated games were an obvious step.

Ahoy looks thoroughly through history, highlighting the many revisions of Space War and the launch of Atari, and how they eventually shaped the way we look at games today.
