North American Union: The Truth

The hidden dangerous about the north American union.

Still doesn't effectively sell me on the negatives of an American Union. All Europeans I know thought the EU was a good thing and they have more freedom because of it. And a one world government? That seems like more distance between me and them and I'm ok with that. I don't see my liberty going down the tubes any faster than it is now and maybe it will open up the pool a bit and we'll get a more world class intelligence in leadership roles.

What am I missing?

Okay, so he took the three clips off youtube which show people in cable tv talking about the NAU, and the story of a guy who knew a rocafeller, and then through in all the "truther" stuff about fascist world gov.

Well if he is so concerned about a new facist gov, how about thinking about the one we are growing right now, no sinister outside influence necessary.

I have watched these clips, I have followed the evidence, not much there, does that MEAN that this could not happen? No, but if the conditions for it to happen exist, weather it happens or not will be irrelevant. If we in the US can't manage to keep our checks and balances to the point where they would at least need to do what the EU did in forming over a long protracted debate/negotiation, then it's all over anyway, we get 21st century fascism any way you slice it.

"My problem with the video is that it presents this problem but no solution or mode of alternative action. If this IS all true, then what the hell are we supposed to do now while we can?"

Start reading the good book.

Lol Ill take "good book" as slang for the Constitution. I agree that our government now is a shadow of what is use to or claimed to be. However I dont think throwing away sovereignty just yet is a good idea. As Blankfist stated to me once if we were to join in a union the Constitution would be null and void. It would be irrelevant since it was written to do the oppisite. You would have to damn near throw the entire thing out. I think we need to keep working on correcting the bad government we let hijack our country. To not give up on our hope that they arent all idiots like our present leader. Changes have to be made but a union is not needed if we get our act together.

I think the big thing is that it is happening behind closed doors. There isn't discussion with the general public. As I remember, there was fierce debate over the EU, and the first draft (or several) was rejected by a couple of countries.

Where is any debate happening in North America? They have already started building the NAU highway down in Texas. Rights for it being a toll road have already been sold to foreign corporations. And yet there isn't any public discussion. These actions are done without the approval of the citizens, but behind our backs.

I think that is where the first major outrage is.
