In the new biopic “Diana,” Oscar-nominee Naomi Watts plays Princess Diana, a role she has said was “the hardest thing I've ever done.”

“I don’t want to get caught up in mimicry – that’s the worst thing,” she told Manhattan magazine last year. “I was to try to embody her and get the essence of her. Those things are really important to me.”

In the trailer, Watts, 44, is shown portraying Diana as she navigates life as a philanthropist, mother and, of course, “the People’s Princess.” (ABC News)
