This was the sequence used in the first half of the first season in 1980-81. They changed the song mid way...the new one is easier to hum along to, but the original just captured that post-Disco pop era.

I like the overhead shot of the ferrari in the beginning after he peels out.

Looks like he was going about 12 mph.

Used to watch reruns of this show with my Mom on the sofa in middle and early high school.
