William Kristol is the latest GOP rat to abandon ship, and is getting attacked by the McCain campaign surrogates for actually telling the truth for the first time in his life.

Neil Cavuto, who recently seems to be the prez of the Ron Paul fanclub, enjoys all the schadenfreude.

Kristol's original comment:
"Why isn't Sarah Palin on this morning instead of Rick Davis. It is ridiculous. It's malpractice. It's a tough environment, maybe they would have lost anyway....but to do what they are doing is inexplicable to me."
