I think *economics would only really be needed either during a big election, or an economic downturn/recession/depression/apocalypse.

Since we're in the midst of all those things, it seems needed, but I expect in saner times *politics is fine.

At least we have *news now!

Cramer is such a blowhard... agreed we do need an econ channel though. Have a feeling it'll be much used, PDQ.

How do people like this get air time? Why do people watch them?

It blows me away how incompetent and clueless these people are.

Friedman, Brooks, and host of other conservative writers and talking heads. They are so far off the mark, time after time, but every week they're back in print or back on the air.

It's genuinely hurting our country.
