Inflight emergency in a WW2 plane over Washington DC May '15

This pilot was flying in a formation that was supposed to overfly the National Mall on VE Day, this year (2015) last week...Just as he started his turn in over the Mall, there was an emergency.

The first part of the video is a straight-up capturing of what happens next, so that he ends on on the ground in an immediate divert to Reagan National.

The in the second half, he breaks down the video, adding places where he analyzes what he thought was happening, how he was responding, what he would do differently along with lessons learned.

Skillful because: despite his self criticism, the way the emergency plans worked out is pretty impressive to me.
