"This is an experimental video. The main point of this video is to see things from another perspective, from the point of view of those who are not important to the plot they're involved in. In this particular case, for example, when things are seen from the point of view of the irrelevant criminals, it seems as if this was a horror video since they don't even know why are they doing what they do, they just follow orders, but things are very different from the main character's perspective.

So that's they point of this video, to see things through those who only follow orders, but don't know exactly what they are doing or why. Just like the common guard from Metal Gear Solid games, or the combine soldier from Half Life 2 games.
