So I'm in one of those hot southern states where summer starts in may and doesn't end till late September or October. AC's all over the city run pretty much constantly, and I've always wonder if with all those heat producing compressors out there actually make it hotter out.

So what he's saying is we should build a ton of very large air conditioners next to highways in the southern states...

so using the wrong terminology in a instructive video. FAIL.
