Ground shifts, water seeps during quake in Chiba, Japan

Video taken by iCNN reporter Brent Kooi during the quake.

I live in Chiba and this happened pretty much everywhere that is built on reclaimed land, including the college campus where I work--big cracks in the earth formed and water started pouring out of them, dumping black mud everywhere. They say it's not sea water, but actually underground streams that flow between the boulders the reclaimed land areas are built on. Lots of businesses and houses have damage from the water and mud, but we've had very few casualties thankfully. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who experienced the horrific effects of the tsunami up north.
