Via: There was big news in the past 12 hours–no, not just that Isabel Marant is collaborating with H&M this fall. Rather, it’s that Gail Lerner (who has produced such TV comedy gems as Will & Grace, Happy Endings, and more) wrote and directed a Girls parody called Girls Season 38, re-imagining Hannah, Marnie, Shoshanna, and Jessa as women in their 60s. It features some of our favorite funny ladies–including Wendie Malick–as well as a few hilarious guys too (hey, Martin Starr). And they totally nail every single character.
While the video posted over the weekend, it was only last night that Lena Dunham herself got wind of if it, tweeting, “I’m afraid this might be better than our show.” And you know what? After a disappointing season two, she’s kind of right. Trust us when we say it’s worth watching–and then waiting until season 39 comes through. Hannah goes partying with her grandchildren?! –REBECCA WILLA DAVIS
