Fox News' Reporter Falls Asleep On Live TV News

YouTube Description:

It appears that all the excitement of Super Tuesday got a little too much for one reporter.

When Fox News station KTBC in Austin linked up live on-air at 5.30am this morning to reporter Doug Luzader in Washington... he was found fast asleep.

Anchor Joe Bickett introduced his colleague and then asked him about the Republican race: 'Doug Luzader is live in D.C. with the update on all of this. Doug, good morning, good to see you...I guess six, three, one, pretty much they way it breaks down, eh?'The split screen showed Bickett sitting in the studio and Luzader, against the backdrop of Capitol Hill, with his head bowed. When he received no response from Luzader, he then tried to rouse him, repeating: 'Hello Doug, hi Doug...I guess not....'The station then quickly cut from the split-screen and Bickett glossed over the embarassing mishap with: 'We'll check in, in a minute.'However it appeared that the Fox station did not return to complete their report with Luzader.Doug Luzader is based in Washington D.C. for 35 Fox but has been a reporter for the station since 2002. He recently reported from the Middle East and spent a month working in Baghdad covering the work in Iraq.
