Fox News Backs Robin Williams Death Report w. Fake Doubfire

"8-11-14 - ( Fox News ) - (mediaite.com) - Cable news went wall-to-wall with coverage of the death of beloved comedian Robin Williams of an apparent suicide Monday evening, quickly abandoning planned segments on Iraq to celebrate the life of the Oscar-winning actor. But the rush to fill the screen with b-roll of Williams in action caused at least one big problem for Fox News. As Greta Van Susteren interviewed Larry King about Williams via phone, footage of someone who was definitely not Robin Williams, but looked a whole lot like his character from Mrs. Doubtfire appeared on the screen. The footage was labeled as coming from 20th Century Fox, a company that has some connection to the cable news network, but it most definitely did not. After a few seconds, the channel moved on on scenes from Mork and Mindy."
