Final Part of Ted Kennedy's Eulogy for Bobby

The press reported today that Ted Kennedy has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Hearing the news reminded me of what I think is one of the more moving moments in all of American political history: Ted's delivery of the eulogy at the funeral of his brother Bobby.

In this recording of the final section of that eulogy, he quotes excerpts from Bobby's famous speech to the students of a South African university in 1966. I think that was one of the finest speeches ever given by an American politician abroad, and the mix of passion and seriousness with which Ted recites the words of his fallen brother never ceases to bring me to tears.
