I love roulette. I watch the tote boards and catch the 0's. 37 to 1 are much better odds, it just takes a little longer!

Roulette is insane. I think he should have been a bit more risky and gone for a number.

The odds of landing black, red, even, or odd is actually slightly less than 1 in 2 (18 in 38 to be exact), because of the green Zero and Double Zero slots. This is the way the house makes money from Roulette. Since most people play either black, red, even, or odd, the 2 in 38 chance of landing on Zero or Double Zero offsets the 2 to 1 payout of the color and even/odd bets.

Roulette, contrary to popular belief, has one of the worst expected returns in gambling. The guy in the video would have been a lot better off playing Craps or Blackjack, and even then would have been better off flipping a coin.

I second that taste of disgust Ambassdor - I think it's the effect on his life (and to who, I assume is his wife) if he lost: is incredibly disgusting for such a selfish action.

If i remember right, video poker is your best bet of actually winning. The house actually has no benifit.
But the guy has balls, and im sure he had some sort of back up plan...

that was dumb. no reason to believe it wasn't just an ad for the poker site.
