Despite 100 stitches, 12-yr-old girl survives bear attack

Attacked by a black bear in the woods outside her Cadillac, Michigan home, first 12-year-old Abby Wetherell tried to run..then she tried to pet the bear - before finally deciding to play dead.

Gashes to her thigh, back, and face required more than 100 stitches. But she's alive because after she played dead...it left her without further attack.

And the one thing, besides the bear returning, that Abby was worried about? Who was going to play goalie for her school's soccer team...
