"Video footage from a cruise ship which came out in very heavy weather in the Pacific in 2008 has just been published online.
The ship, the 47,000 ton "Pacific Sun" had 2,403 passengers on board when it was hit by huge waves, 650 km from New Zealand's coast, said the website news.com.au.
Video images obtained from a surveillance camera, shows how the furniture in one of the ship's bars sudden selig progresses and slipping from side to side as the ship tilts.
42 people were injured in the violent seas - the worst damage occurred when slot machines tumbled down over some passengers.
"Pacific Sun" is owned by the shipping company P & O, and a spokesman here said that the pictures are old drug. He oplsyer that the Company has now secured tables and chairs, so a similar accident will not happen again."
