I was born and raised in Nebraska, and now I live in Wyoming. This song is about killer Charles Starkweather, who was born in Nebraska. In 1958 he went on a killing spree that started in Lincoln, NE (50 miles from where I was born) and ended in Douglas, WY (50 miles from where I now live). Scared yet?
