Just In: It pains me to say this but James has been found dead in the Oregon wilderness. http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/12/06/missing.family/index.html
He left to search for help as his family was stuck in the snow and lost in Oregon. He was a great guy as many of you might know. (The "rip" in the tags means RIP.)

this is really sad ... i don't consider myself a naïve, but i was really surprised to hear of someone being standed. i'm going to assume that they didn't have cell service. i'm also wondering how far they drove before realizing their mistake?

so many questions ... this is a really sad story.

Saw coverage of this on Countdown.. apparently the road is normally closed with a bar, but a vandal had cut through the chain.
