Aikido : Defense against a BaseBall Bat.
You have to find what is right for you. Maybe krav maga can be right for you, its an interesting system like aikido but more intense, the way it is meant to be.
But like all arts they have superstitions. You have to find the Martial part of the art, and forget about the art part. <-
By no means am I saying that Aikido is a good thing, I'm saying that I can do a good sankyo!

The final straw for me when I took Aikido was a move that was something like your opponent is on one knee and has one arm extended in front on him, and you slide your hand hard down the top of his arm to make him stand up and control him with chi or something. I asked the instructor to do it on me because it seemed to be placebo, and when he did it on me I wasn't willing to resist and embarrass him in front of his class.
I watched a friend's black belt test in Aikido. Looked like WWE, with him doing all this crazy stuff that has nothing to do with combat.

) that shows how this was done with a WWE interview on CNN here
The frightening thing about this is im assuming (since im not crazy and Armageddon hasnt come yet) that this is well crafted sound editing. It really shows how you cant trust anything you see now a days. I mean yeah there were a couple of rough cuts in the audio but if you showed that to a bunch of 3rd world countries right now i guarantee a lot of them will think its 100% true. Does the potential of this frighten anyone else?
I'm not really that frightened in cases like this... if this was displayed as being a 'true' video, then anyone with half a brain would say, "Ok, show me the single shot of his face for the whole speech"
This only works because they cut away to much to mask the edits in the video (sound is much easier to get away with).
That's not to say similar things don't happen... take a response and cut it off so that you're left with only a portion of a reply that means something completely different to the entire reply was... there was a sift from ill doctrine (he he, I actually forgot, it was me who posted it

Geez, I dunno. I queued mine about 3 days ago- it made the front page about 10 hours ago (as of this writing). It looks like we may have queued them within an hour of each-other. I'd happily * discard mine if it were clear-cut, but as it is I won't have any hard feelings if mine is discarded- I'll leave it to another to make the call

WWE Raw!: Hilary Vs. Barack!
I think the point they're trying to make here is that WWE viewers universally vote Republican- or even more likely not at all.

Next in our series of mismatches, we'll be showcasing Butterbean vs. Floyd Mayweather.
In April, look out for our pay-per-view special featuring a 3-way bout, including Oscar De La Hoya, The Big Show of WWE fame, and a rejuvenated Mike Tyson.
Finally, this summer, the Mohegan Sun and Half-Indian tribes of Central New England are proud to present: "Unfair II: The Reckoning", pitting Emelianenko Fedor against Charles Barkley in a rematch of their first encounter, which lasted 12 seconds. This fight will be at the catch weight of 300 pounds, which Barkley has publicly stated he may have trouble making.
The Insanity of Nuclear Weapons
Russia is not and never was the threat they said it was.
So what, the Cuban missile crisis was all a charade? Soviet and American leaders got together beforehand and were like: "Hey, let's pretend to have a little standoff - you know, kind of get the crowd going a bit." I suppose all their missiles were filled with sawdust and cow parts. World history is pretty much WWE.
I'm curious, when did this start? Was it right after WWII that they had the meeting and worked out the script? Or was WWII part of it too? If so, I have to say that was a good move. Nobody wants to question the made-up history if half the people they know inexplicably died.
a means of taking control of media operations
This is such an insult to the billions of people in countries where the government actually does control media operations. Media here is controlled by money, and money is controlled by attention. This produces certain kinds of flaws in media coverage (like a tendency to support wars that involve hometown boys dying), but it doesn't make the media a government puppet.
Talking to people with views like yours, I quite often get told that I just can't handle the truth or something. I'd say it's just the opposite. To me, the real, scary, hard-to-accept truth is that there isn't a deeper level of reality or motivation to world events.
Despite how scary it seems, the world is shaped by people like Bush - people who got where they are by accidents of fate, and people who are not particularly more qualified than the average restaurant manager. These people don't plan to have a fake rivalry with Russia to subjugate the populace, they think "Oh yeah Russia, you can't mess with us - we'll build twice as many bombs".
They're motivated by fear and doubt and ego - just like the rest of us. Ascribing to them completely different, secret motives (as well as near absolute, behind-the-curtains power) means you'll never understand world history, and that you sacrifice what little influence you could have on your nation's future.
I've mentioned this before, but it seems like in the States now a lot of young people with good ideals are opting out of the political process entirely - because they kind of disbelieve in the whole system. As a consequence, you continue to get the same kind of leaders.
Come back to reality. You're needed!
