Rebekah Del Rio - Llorando (Mulholland Drive)

MrFisk says...

Yo estaba bien por un tiempo,
volviendo a sonrer.
Luego anoche te vi
tu mano me toc
y el saludo de tu voz.
Y habl muy bien de tu
sin saber que he estado
llorando por tu amor.
Luego de tu adis sent todo mi dolor.
Sola y llorando,
llorando.
No es fcil de entender
que al verte otra vez
Yo seguir llorando

Yo que pens que te olvid
pero es verdad es la verdad
que te quiero an ms,
mucho ms que ayer.
Dime t qu puedo hacer
no me quieres ya
y siempre estar
llorando por tu amor.
Tu amor se llev
todo mi corazon
y quedo llorando
llorando
por tu amor.

English Translation (not the literal trans):

I was all right for a while,
I could smile for a while.
But I saw you last night;
You held my hand so tight
when you stopped to say hello.
Oh, you wished me well,
you couldn't tell
that I'd been crying over you,
crying over you.
And you said so long,
left me standing all alone.
Alone and crying
Crying.
It's hard to understand
But the touch of your hand
Can start me crying

I thought that I was over you
But it's true, so true
I love you even more
Than I did before
But darling, what can I do?
For you don't love me
And I'll always be
Crying over you.

Yes, now you're gone
And from this moment on
I'll be crying
crying
over you.

60 Minutes: The Trail Of Toxic E-Waste

Rodney Mullen on live tv...Damn he's good

>> ^bamdrew:
Rodney was cool... then came pool and vert skating, which was pretty rad,... then street skating took to the air... handrails and tricks over gaps... combining technical skating with huge-balls, giving us the glory that was Jamie Thomas in 'Welcome to Hell'...

Not that its fair to compare guys from different times, and its also kind of like comparing breakdancing to parkour, very different things. If Mullen's invented it on the flatland, Jamie did it while flying at 20mph down a set of 15 stairs... I know which one I think is cooler.

What clinches best of all time for me has to be darkslides, Mullen's talent is just unreal.

Not your normal street skateboarding

Nintendo vs. Grimault

James Roe says...

I was just looking for footage from "Le Roi et le Oiseau" an old French film by grimaut with music by Jacques Prévert. This film has some clips from the movie interspersed with nintendo commercials. It might seem really strange at first, but the film was actually the inspiration for Miyazakis animating style, so the film is culturally significant in Japan. At any rate I typically hate amv's but this is really well done. The music is awesome.

You can learn more about "Le Roi et le Roiseau" here in an old blawg post of mine.
