I was just about to sift this myself. He's taken parkour/urban gymnastics to a whole new level by now.

Urban gymnastics sure, but this isn't parkour. Parkour is the art of escaping a pursuer with the most efficient possible use of your energy. The guy who was running all over that abandoned building was doing parkour. The guy who jumped up and slipped through that tiny window above the door was doing parkour -- heck, he even actually had somebody chasing him. Jumping over things when it would be more efficient to run around them is not parkour.

One of my first contributions to the site ever, although at the time i didn't know what parkour was so it was labeled urban gymnastics

yeah, i believe i am guilty for not tagging the urban gymnastics one as parkour. Just went back and added it. It was the sift that taught me what parkour was.

This is on VideoSift under that name "Urban Gymnastics". I had a hard time finding it. I had to go to the “Top Rated Videos” list.


On Google Video it has been titled "Russian Climbing". It is one of a number of videos that can be tagged "parkour" or "free running".
