I agree with you that there is something special about this - it's what YouTube videos do best - make you feel like you're sitting in the living room of this guy's house experiencing it. I hate super-polished studio music.

Agreed -- that was a tongue-in-cheek goad, just to remind the Jake vid that it's still human.
I think there is something special about this video too. It's certainly not a technically perfect performance, but there is something about its casualness that feels very intimate.

Jake was good, but not as good as the amount of votes it had. My downvote was my way of saying that folks should not have a vote frenzy over it again.

Hey I enjoyed that ukelele video.

Anyways, here is my first submission. It happened right the day after I joined magnolia. I joined video sift just a few days ago. I think I see a pattern. Not as bad as when I first bought a house though. True story. long magnolia video, makes me feel all sappy

Actually, this is a good opportunity to point out that it *is* funny (*comedy) and *cute to be on *drugs for *kids. It's both a *dark and *happy vid, showing the external manifestation of drugs going *wtf to the brain.

Man this is hilarious, and the Sift's greatest hope ever to dethroning the ukulele.

It's only a matter of time before the escalopter gets eclipsed.

Should we really care about the ukelele video? Sure, its votes have been inflated, but it's not like the video is hurtful to the sift or anything.

If you can make a persuasive case that the presence of the video has stopped a worthier video from rising to the top or driven you away from your computer in tears then I'll support its discarding.

Otherwise, let's just leave it where it is.
