"Stupidity of American Voter," critical to passing Obamacare
I'm glad I don't pay for that stuff anymore. Thanks to all the legal ways you can avoid it that have been legislated by "our friends in congress." (Maybe I should attend a Pelosi fundraiser, as a thank you, given that the only thing "our" representatives are good for, is keeping those loopholes and exemptions open... and, y'know, maybe a bit of 'crowd control' to prevent any semblance of a revolution by pitting one party against the other.)
You, of course, are free to do whatever you want with your money.
Just like taxes for wars people don't support. Or subsidies and tax breaks for companies that wield political power and yet have no valid economic rationale for being subsidised. I hate to break it to you, but democratic societies have plenty of things that you pay for that you either don't support or don't use.
It's a fact that this point has apparently not dawned on a lot of people and the guy in the video doesn't put it eloquently, but you can bet at a state level when earmarks for generally wasteful expenses that only benefit a few come up, those few will suddenly become very supportive of the proposals that benefit their few over the many.
You could also take the perspective that since no one knows when they might get sufficiently sick to lose their job and their income, that it's an insurance policy for even the healthy. Even if you don't believe in that, the fact is emergency rooms are obliged to treat immediate health issues for free. Why should the healthy not be obliged to pay for this tacit insurance?
Seal Visits Shark Cage OR Any Port In A Storm...Of Teeth
They were definitely stepping high weren't they?
I might not blame them...a set of jaws a pit bull would envy.
It kinda looks like they kicked him out of the cage, douchebags.
Jon Stewart Goes After Fox in Ferguson Monologue
They will stay hell bent till every thinking discerning man is cast into the fire pit. But when they show up on conservative blogs I'm sure they get piled on. Its all good. Their shit just rolls off my back. Stupid people are too stupid to know that they are stupid.
I have a question.
What is the standard issued service weapon used?
I wonder about the 9 shots over a 9 second period recorder on audio.
Would the weapon carry 10 rounds be standard?
Or would he need to pause, as on the audio, reload and continue firing?
Troll on.
Just you and me now, Bob. They've given up. We're racist trolls.
You know what they say...when you call names, you've lost the argument.
The REAL Reason MTV No Longer Plays Music Videos
Real reason? Reality shows are cheap to make, music videos are expensive to show. But before MTV stopped playing music, they went thru phases where each iteration did bring us only the top 10 or record label promotion paid them to play their new artists, then that was mixed with reality and finally they stopped pretending and just switched on full reality tv that they can sell. MTV could see it like this parody video on their end "people are watching less and less music" but it was exactly the cancellation of Headbangers Ball, Yo Raps, Alternative Nation etc. that lead to declining numbers.. I stopped watching wh en headbangers and Alt nation stopped as it was only top hits from that point on. Everything even remotely alternative or indie was gone, there were no one selecting new music as there were no more people to host the shows, VJs were gone, it was just automated playlist that plaid literally the same songs over and over. It was an attempt to get more profit from casual music listeners but even they turned it down: it seems like you need and want to hear music you don't like every now and then to make your favorites a lot more important.. Even i wouldn't watch a music station that plays only the things i like, i need to hear one or two really awful crap every now and then just to remind me that music can be truly awful and soulless product and not everyone is Radiohead.
And mind you, those alternative shows only aired at odd hours, headbangers ball was around midnight and really hard stuff like Into the Pit was aired around 2am, it still was top 20 during the day. But it did mix it up a little, one alternative or indie video per hour. You take that one exception away and it is boring no matter what your music taste is.

Insurance scam doesn't go as planned
Wow yourself.
Those are mostly really horrible examples and gross misinterpretation of things that've been said here.
Most of the things you're talking about are not even closely related to someone putting themselves into a position of imminent danger.
Smokers, second-hand smoking, addiction, extreme sporting, and *anyone* who does *anything* *potentially* dangerous? Say what? Your nonsensical examples have no relation whatsoever to what I've been discussing.
Laying under a moving car or playing Russian roulette or climbing into an alligator pit or shooting at cops with machine guns... Yes, those kinds of things are exactly the same as someone with a lifetime of addiction or who uses safety gear and expertise with a reasonable expectation they'll walk away from their sporting activity unharmed. Right? Pshaw.
You're either doing a really bad job of trolling or just a really bad masterdebater.
Wow.
So, smokers who get lung cancer can go fuck themselves? Same for people who live with smokers? No sympathy for those assholes. They should've known better. Having said that, Amy Winehouse can go fuck herself as well, everbody knows the risks of alcoholism. And no sympathy for Paul Walker either. Speeding, really? And those idiots dying in parachuting accidents deserve what's coming to them as well. Should've stayed on the ground. Same with every somewhat dangerous sport. Applies to you too, Michael Schuhmacher.
Fuck all those people who did something potentially dangerous and got seriously hurt or killed because of it. Empathy is for pussies anyways.
This is especially valid for people who cause others financial harm as they deserve death the most. Preferably by having the head crushed under a tire.
Insurance scam doesn't go as planned
Just read the rest of this conversation and totally agree with @Tusker.
The pickpocket analogy is no analogy for this situation. For it to be even relatable, the criminal would have to attempt and fail to pick the pocket of a police officer in uniform, then run out onto a shooting range where the officer then mistakenly shoots him without being aware the guy tried to pick his pocket.
But climb into an alligator pit? You don't *deserve* to be eaten, but if you are, how can I feel sorry for you when you made a conscious, concerted effort to put yourself into the position where that could happen to you and there's no possible way it would have ever happened to you otherwise.

Muslims Interrogate Comedian
The real problem with Islam isn't the religion itself or the extremists exploiting it for their terrible and sometimes murderous goals, it's the silence of the moderate, tolerant Muslims. Their refusal to speak out against those who want to abuse their beliefs to pit Islam against the rest of the world is what makes all that hatred so effective.
I saw plenty christian opposition against the Westboro Baptist Church, I've yet to see muslims protesting death threats against cartoonists.
