as for the political extortion coming from saudi arabia,and understand this is pure speculation.i would surmise it had something to do with very unsavory information that the body politic of washington would do much to keep under wraps.

i have no doubt that certain american political factions got caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
just look at how the bush years handled the iraq war and how convinced they were things were going to go in certain direction.
it probably would have in a western country but the mid east is organic as much as it is chaotic.
western politics has always and i mean ALWAYS gotten the politics of the middle east wrong.

I have found that the findthumb invoke will work when the original thumb image appears broken. Instead of a pic, you see a red x or a white space depending on which browser you use. Odd how these don't appear in the No Thumbs queue but maybe that's by design.

Now the videos with just a default logo showing as the thumb are the ones where technically the image is not broken, it just isn't appearing. The findthumb invoke does not work in these cases and it needs to be added manually. It's tedious work but you can also clean a lot of dead videos this way too.

Does this explanation make sense? I really found all this out by trial and error so I hope it helps you.

Does this mean there is no thumbnail on the video? Or, just that it needs a new one? When siftbot says that no new thumbnail would be found is it saying there is none available, or that it could not be done automatically?

I was happy he got a cup and all, but it sucks Roy had to get one too. I always hated that guy. Hasek always seemed like the better goalie to me. It wasn't his fault he spent all those years stuck in Buffalo.
