More “Bidenomics” vs “Trumpenomics” news…

Trump’s re-election super pac is starting the election year with barely $5 million left after Trump spent $115 million on legal fees, Melania’s hair, his own plane, and who knows what else (like $20k for a fake union rally in a non union shop with actors playing union workers while Biden walked the actual picket lines with actual union workers).
Yes, Trump’s re-election campaign has $5 million left of the $120 million he had last year, and the RNC is completely bankrupt in most states.

Conversely, just one superpac for Biden just ordered $250 million in campaign advertising, the biggest political ad buy in history.

Gonna be a pretty one sided campaign…do you think Trump can beat Biden from his basement like Biden beat Trump from his? 😂

Aaaaahahaha!
One private school followed the public school law in Texas and banned the Bible for glorifying explicit sexual and violent content…and the right has lost their hypocritical shit!
Enjoy reaping what you sow.

Edit: bonus- Trump was just deposed in the Eugene Carrol rape case, and as a civil case he could invoke the 5th but the jury can assume guilt because he pleads the 5th, so he actually testified for 7 hours. Now that deposition, which included questions the answers to which Bragg wanted on the record before prosecuting Trump for bank and tax fraud for fraudulently over/under valuations properties for loans/taxes.
Suddenly not filing this case last year when the investigators brought it to him is genius, because otherwise the civil deposition wouldn’t have happened for years if ever and he would have less evidence.

Added bonus- WI republicans hijacked the emergency alert system during a blizzard/tornado outbreak to fake an emergency alert that was in fact a political ad against the Democratic Supreme Court candidate. More evidence that respect for laws, morals, and ethics aren’t part of the Republican Party.
Happily thanks to this and other blatant Republican disregard and distain for the law, the Democratic candidate won by double digits in conservative Wisconsin.

Jack - Michigan - Republican Voters Against Trump

wtfcaniuse says...

Republicans against trump released one of the best political ads I've ever seen.

To be fair a lot of republicans are just trying to save face for the party after realising what a fucking epic shitshow they've caused. If they truly had a conscience and morals they would have voted to impeach.

The Ad Trump has Threatened TV Stations Over

newtboy says...

*promote since this ad bothers Trump so much he's now suing stations that air it.
As ridiculous as that is, it's a win win for us....either he loses in court and looks like a thin skinned baby throwing another tantrum or he wins and a new standard is set for political ads where saying something bad about a political rival isn't allowed even if it's a 100% accurate statement.
Also, it keeps the ad in the public's mind for months...maybe until the election, for free.

Now, if only someone would go looking for Barron's long form birth certificate to prove he's actually Ivanka's love child with her father and announce the "big announcement" coming on election day, you won't believe the amazing information their investigators found.

Who pays the lowest taxes in the US?

spawnflagger says...

While I'm all for progressive taxes, it would be nice if this presentation had just 1 graph that was absolute dollars paid in taxes, not always having the Y-axis a "% of total income" ... then we'd see that those rich people are paying hundreds to thousands of times more than the poor folks.

It would also be nice if individuals could choose what projects/departments/agencies their tax money (above some per-person baseline) went to, rather than budgets being proposed by executive branch and approved by congress. But if you hate political ads now, such a system would flood all channels of advertisement with "choose XYZ before April 15th!"

Sizzler Commercial Circa 1991

spawnflagger says...

If they replace SIZZLER with CANDIDATE, this would be the perfect political ad of all time.

(I was really hoping to see the crazed murderer from Too Many Cooks pop up any second there)
